Gender: Male

Personality: First and foremost, Gabriel lives a live all about hedonism. The pursuit of pleasure. He does what he wants, when he wants. When you've got the powers of an Archangel, wouldn't you do the same. Out of all of the archangels and a majority of angels, Gabriel is the most human. This is most likely due to the fact that he has spent the most time with them. He loves the human way of life and everything they do. He respects them more than just about every angel, with the exception of Castiel. That guy has a total boner for humans.
Despite all his incredible power, Gabriel is still afraid to stand up to his brothers. He is the youngest archangel after all. It's because of this fear to stand up against any of his brothers that he fled to Earth and establish the many other identities that he did. This gave him a greater sense of respect for the humans, being with them from almost the very beginning.
There is a darker side to Gabriel however. He thoroughly enjoys playing tricks on people, usually at the expense of that person's life. If he feels somebody needs to be taught a lesson, he'll do it. Usually in some kind of crazy way thanks to his ability to warp reality. If it usually didn't result in the death of the person, the methods which he used could be considered funny.
When not hiding from Heaven or killing/humiliating people, Gabriel can actually be pretty funny. He's extremely sarcastic and easy to get on with. Just stay on his good side. If you like attractive woman, good food or fine wine, he'll like you. If you mention his family in a negative light, he'll quickly change from a happy go lucky guy to being filled with rage.
Appearance: Gabriel's appearance changes drastically depending on whatever he's doing. He'll take on various uniforms and even faces to conceal his identity so that the people he's playing with play along. His "default" appearance is of a man who is under average height. He wears casual clothes, nothing fancy so he doesn't attract too much attention. While not particularly in great shape, he still as a decent body shape.

History:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth...okay I'll skip the rest of The Bible. The important story of Gabriel begins with the creation of man and Lucifer's rebellion against heaven. Afraid to pick a side and having to fight any of his family, he chose to flee from heaven and hide to avoid fighting at all costs. Eventually Lucifer and his forces were defeated but everyone knew that would not be the end of it. Sooner or later, Lucifer would be free and would begin his attack against the man, the angels and heaven. So he figured it was best to remain concealed from all angelic life.
Gabriel decided the best plan of action would be to establish himself in other parts of the world where he wasn't known. During this time he created the persona of Loki, the Norse god of mischief, deceit and lies as well as The Trickster, a creature who can only be killed stabbing a wooden steak dipped in the blood of one of his victims straight to the heart. He also mingled with a lot of the other Eastern gods, including brief relationship with the Hindu Goddess Kali, "Chick was all hands". He spent his time traveling around the world using his Trickster persona. Playing tricks on people he felt deserved it. The people who lied to succeed in life. Who stole and manipulated to get where they were.
It was doing this that Gabriel first came across the Winchesters. Instantly, he knew who they were, but giving the game away that early would be nowhere near as fun. He toyed with them, pretending to be a janitor at the place they were investigating. He used local legends to kill and humiliate people who deserved it including: a professor who had caused a girl to commit suicide years beforehand, a frat brother who was horrible to his pledges and a research assistant who tested on animals. After being discovered and trying to entice Dean into accepting two women he had conjured if he lets Gabriel go to the next town. Eventually the brothers trick the Trickster and stab him in the heart with the one thing that they think will kill him.
After that, the brothers and Gabriel met again. This time, Gabriel wanted to teach Sam that he had to let his brother die, that some things were just inevitable and he had to embrace his destiny. His methods may have been a little unorthodox i.e. killing Dean hundreds of times in a Groundhog Dog style.
Now, Gabriel is going to return to the action. He may not want to fight any of his brothers, but the Winchesters are always fun to mess with. Not to mention these out-of-towners that have entered the situation. The one with blue box and the other. It's definitely going to be fun.
Role Play Sample:
The day was winding down, the small convenience store was empty. It was the time after everyone had picked up what they needed after work but before the people hoping for an evening munch came to purchase their stash. The most boring and uneventful time of day.
Eventually the dry spell was ended when an obese man entered. The man had been recently acquitted from a lawsuit involving the poisoning of a young girl. Thanks to a technicality, he was free to go but it was obvious that he was guilty. The American justice system, you gotta love it.
As the man headed towards the candy aisle, the shop clerk, who looked oddly satisfied, grinned at the man. Ignoring the clerk, the obese man made his selection before proceeding to unwrap the large chocolate bar and feasting on it, biting chunks off that barely fit in his mouth. It was probably the man's first taste of confectionery since his brief stint in jail, waiting for his court date.
The clerk, with a large smirk on his face tilted his head to the side as he watched the man's antics before initiating conversation with him.
"Y'know Chubs, wanna know a secret?" he began, slowly approaching the man. "You kinda gotta pay for those before you eat them. Oh! And by the by, you might wanna take smaller bites, you might hurt yourself."
With a disgruntled look, the man stuffing his face glared at the clerk.
"Up yours!" he replied, his chocolate filled mouth barely allowing the words to escape.
The clerk, unphased by the man's behavior, simply nodded his head to the side as his smile widened. As he continued swallowing massive chunks at a time, the obese man stared into the clerks eyes, trying to make some kind of point. However the blatant attempt at establishing dominance just made the clerk raise his eyebrows, the smirk still remaining.
Finishing the first bar, the man reached for a second. As he started to unwrap the large bar, the chocolate guzzling man's facial expressions changed into horror. The clerk tried his best to pull off an innocent face as if to say 'it wasn't me', which he followed with a slight shrug. Slowly, small but pointed lumps started to appear in the man's throat, protruding more and more until they broke the skin, causing blood to ooze out after severing several veins in the mans neck. The blood slowly tricked down out the slits in the man's neck, quickly soaking the man's cheap suit. Grasping for life, the obese man clutched at his neck, futility hoping it would make a difference. With the man, quite obviously dying in front of him, the clerk's only change in expression was the slight raising of his eyebrows, the smirk still remaining.
With the overweight man now collapsed on the floor, his final seconds of life slowly ending, the clerk crouched down to examine him. Carefully, the clerk pulled out the cause of one of the many slashes in the man's throat. When it was extracted it, the clerk chuckled slightly as he examined what appeared to be a blood covered razor blade. After throwing the razor lightly onto the man's large stomach, the clerk grabbed the barely opened candy bar before slowly eating it.
Candy bar in hand, the clerk looked down at the dead man, still smirking with a mouthful of chocolate.
"I told ya, buddy. You gotta watch you eat. Well, I'm sure I'm not the only one whose told you that, right?" he chuckled, lightly tapping the mans stomach before standing back up.
As he finished the bar of chocolate, the clerk tossed the wrapper away before stretching.
"Oh well, this job blew anyways." he said to himself before sighing.
Then, a feeling rushed through him. A feeling he hadn't felt for what felt like an eternity. The presence of Lucifer, something only an angel could feel. The clerk was the Archangel Gabriel. Feeling the presence of Lucifer on Earth meant only one obvious thing, Lucifer was free from his cage. Gabriel knew that soon, Sam and Dean Winchester would be informed of their destiny. Knowing them, they wouldn't play ball. They never were ones to go along with the natural way of things.
"Well. Sammy. Dean. Looks like we get to have another one of out little therapy sessions sooner than I thought."
With a click of his fingers, Gabriel vanished from the store, leaving behind the bloody mess.
