Personality:
Bobby is a very down to earth person. He sees things are they are and he’ll say it. He doesn’t take crap from anyone either. Saying that, he’ll do anything for Sam and Dean and he’ll do favors for other hunters. A lot of hunters know of Bobby Singer. Even a lot of civilians know who and what he is if they’ve had some kind of run-in with a creepy critter. Bobby’s favorite saying is “Idjit” and he won’t hesitate to call you one if you’re acting like one.
Lately though, he's been depressed, moody, and short tempered. He's even contemplated suicide. At one point he even had the gun pointed to his temple. He feels useless, stuck in a chair, unable to even leave his house until the ramp was finally built by Sam and Dean. And then of course, he can't get upstairs either.
Appearance:
Bobby Singer looks like your average deerhunter or mechanic at first sight. Green eyes and graying brown hair on his face and head. Even with his guns in the back of his tow-truck, you wouldn’t think twice. He’s scruffy looking with his hair and beard. He really just doesn’t look like someone you wouldn’t want to mess with either. He looks like a no-nonsense kind of guy.
There is one little new 'addition' to his appearance lately... a wheelchair. He was injured and may never walk again. This affects his appearance more than you think. He's actually -losing- weight...

History:
Bobby was born Robert Steven Singer one August night in South Dakota. His father was abusive toward him and his mother, no matter how good Bobby did, it was never good enough. Finally one night he was pushed too far and he shot his father in the head, and buried him in the back yard.
He and his mother never spoke of that night. As soon as he was 16, he moved out. He got a job as a mechanic. and dropped out of High school.
Karen was the love of his life. On their first date he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. They met through a mutual friend. They were quickly married and were together for a few years before Bobby noticed that she was starting to act oddly. Karen was more aggressive and angry. Finally she attacked him. Her eyes turned black and try as he might, Bobby, in the end, ended up killing his wife.
As if that wasn't bad enough, just a day or two earlier, Karen had told him she was pregnant...
That was when Rufus Turner got into the picture. He was a hunter who wanted a partner, and for whatever reason, he chose Bobby. At first, bobby just wanted out of that life. He even ran to Japan. But thats where he learned to hunt. He got good at it too and started hunting, even getting asked for advice from older hunters. In 1991 he met John Winchester and his boys. As much as he hated the fact that John had to drag around Sam and Dean, he knew that there was no safer place for the boys either.
In 2005 Bobby caught up with the Winchester boys again, to help them with the demon Meg and their father. Over the years, Bobby helped the boys on their hunts, usually from afar, but occasionally traveling with them. It was at his place that Dean rebuilt the Impala and both brothers recovered from the death of their father.
The boys fled here after releasing Lucifer, only for them both to discover Bobby had been possessed, and that Meg and some other demons were there. When Bobby was ordered to kill the boys, he resisted and stabbed himself rather than hurt them.
Now Bobby is stuck in a wheelchair, and he isn't doing well. He's depressed, moody, and short tempered.
Then One day, a blue Police Box appeared in his yard with a funny little skinny man inside...
Role Play Sample:
Sometimes having angel buddies had its bonuses. Case in point, warding symbols. Thanks to a certain Redheaded angel, Bobby had a whole new batch of warding symbols that could keep out anything from demons to wendigo. Bobby was like a kid at Christmas. He was even decorating… sort of. If by decorating you meant placing said wards.
Demon wards would be left for last on the long list. After all, Demons were fairly easy to get rid of these days. Bobby Singer was more interested in warding off their papa, old hotfoot himself. He was being extra careful with this one. He did not need Lucifer appearing in his house unexpectedly… or ever.
Being his paranoid self, Bobby was putting up wards he normally wouldn’t. But with the recent string of… ‘wonky’ acting monsters, he figured better safe than sorry. Popobara were native to Africa yet Bobby had hit one with his truck a few months back. There wasn’t a ward on his list for that, but he found using the bat repellant worked just as well. After all, that’s what it was. A giant vampire bat.
Wendigo? Check. Lucifer? Check. Raphael? Check. Shapeshfters? Check. Skinwalkers… next on the list. But who can work all day without a break? No one really, especially not Bobby. Though his ‘break’ was actually just changing jobs. He grabbed beer from the fridge, and for a moment just looked inside the thing. There were more materials in there for hunting and warding than food. He’d need to fix that soon.
With his liquid lunch, the hunter moved into the study, moving books around, he had a list of numbers on his desk just waiting for him. People he needed to call for one reason or another. Where to start? There was a ‘W’ on the list, just the letter, no number. That was for the boys. He hadn’t heard from them in a few days. He’d call them last. Moving on he picked up his phone and dialed the first number.
By the time Bobby finished his calls, he had achieved his swearing quota for the day. He had also said ‘idjit’ more times just then than he had the whole week so far. Then again, what day was it? Eh. Whatever.
His calls were done, thank god, the mail had ran, and he had no customers needing their cars fixed, so it was back to work on those wards. Next on the list… werewolves. Oh he definitely needed that one these days.
